For the next three weeks, we will be in the computer lab working on your final project. We will begin final presentations around the week of May 21st. Please use the link to the project below if you misplace your copy. ALL LETTERS OF PROPOSAL ARE DUE WED. MAY 2nd. You MAY NOT CHANGE ONCE YOU SUBMIT YOUR LETTER

This Week: March 12-16
We will begin our last major work and take a look at some important background on Ken Kesey's novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Tuesday: A discussion about the history of mental health treatments and a web "field trip."
You will look at some institutions that are right in our own "backyard" and share your findings. If you are absent, click on either of the links below and record some of your observations.

Wednesday-Friday: We will begin reading the first part of the novel. If you are absent, keep up with the reading and the questions in the packets handed out in class.

March 5-9th - This Week: We continue reading and analyzing the style and structure of Mitch Albom's The Five People You Meet in Heaven
Monday-Tuesday: We will finish the 4th and 5th person. Make sure you are up to date with the reading. There will be a quiz on the 4th person on Monday,which was announced on FRIDAY.
Your handouts on symbols, settings, birthdays and the 5 lessons should be complete. Tomorrow will be you unit assessment on the work. If you have all handouts completed, that is all you need to study for the assessment.
Wednesday: Unit Assessment (SNOW DAY - Moved to FRIDAY)
